BBC'S ONCE UPON A TIME IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Twenty-five years on from a peace agreement being reached, Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland shares intimate, unheard testimonies from all sides of the conflict. From the makers of the award-winning series Once Upon a Time in Iraq.

Created by film maker James Bluemel, the BBC Two series runs chronologically with the interviewees returning across multiple episodes, their stories taking time to develop and interlock.

Whilst all episodes can be found HERE, Richard's story is prominent in episode five, taking a look at his relationship with Charles, the soldier who fired the rubber bullet.
